Job Description:

Leading lawn and garden manufacturer seeking Engineering Intern for summer position. Intern will assist the engineering and R&D staff with product development and product qualification related tasks. Such tasks may include but are not limited to testing, fabricate prototype parts, build and test prototype models for evaluation, organize and maintain engineering lab, assist maintenance engineering manager with equipment repairs and adjustments, assist outside consultants with tasks required, work with prototype suppliers on fabrication and troubleshooting tasks, generate engineering models and drawings plus all other tasks as assigned. Qualified candidates must have some mechanical engineering experience, be computer literate and have some machining and fabrication skills.
